Coombe Farm wines are classically varietal and regionally expressive. They are elegantly fresh, deliciously tasty, 'morish' and great value. They are handcrafted in very small volumes, entirely from estate grown fruit that has been chosen as the best the vineyard has to offer.

The first wine made under the Coombe Farm label was a Pinot Noir in 2002. Since then the range has developed into a small yet comprehensive display of both the traditional and alternative varieties that Coombe Farm and the Yarra Valley do best.

This is the inaugural vintage of the Nellie Melba Blanc de Blancs and has been produced by the traditional Champagne method (MC) from estate grown Chardonnay, clones 76 & 96. The wine has been bottle fermented and aged on lees in the bottle for a minimum of fifteen months.

It is a very fine, delicate and elegant Yarra Valley sparkling wine with hints of citrus and chalk, spice and scented flowers. The palate is vibrant and refreshing with tangy grapefruit and melon flavours, has a seamless and delicate ‘bead’, a hint of creaminess and pristine lemon acidity.

  • Deliveries: Free delivery within Zone 1 metropolitan Melbourne. Alternatively, orders can be picked up from Front Cooking School by arrangement. Please indicate on the order form if you wish to pick up your order. Orders in other areas will incur a delivery cost that will be advised.
